On September 2 to 3, 2016, DNFI Officers joined one of its mission partners, The Religious of The Good Shepherd (RGS), in their Gender Sensitivity and VAWC (Violence Against Women and Children) seminars conducted in several municipalities across Virac, Catanduanes. This is a flagship project headed by Bishop Manolo de los Santos of the Diocese of Virac in collaboration with RGS Sisters, that aims to increase awareness and understanding of these social issues in the community, particularly in areas in the outskirts of Virac.
